GRAHAM CREEK STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE PIEVC STUDY

GRAHAM CREEK STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE PIEVC STUDY

Meetings with City of Ottawa staff from various departments were held on June 20 and 21, 2016 to present the PIEVC process and discuss potential candidate infrastructure for the study. The stormwater management infrastructure at Graham Creek was selected for the study by the City of Ottawa.

The Graham Creek Storm Infrastructure (GCSI) consists of a series of stormwater structures along the old alignment of Graham Creek starting at West Hunt Club Road and discharging into the Ottawa River north of Carling Avenue. The open channel sections of the creek meander through various neighborhoods, parks, specially designated areas, and yards of private properties. The structural sections are located mainly at road and railway crossings.
