The Government of NWT engaged WSP Canada to conduct a high level climate change vulnerability assessment using the Public Infrastructure Engineering Vulnerability Committee (PIEVC) Protocol. The vulnerability assessment included every type of municipal infrastructure within the boundaries of the 33 communities of NWT (over 1900 interactions), including civil, parks and facilities, buildings, fuel storage and power facilities.
